Moving? Don’t Throw out Food, Donate It to Move for Hunger

Excel Moving & Storage is pleased to announce its three office locations in Raleigh and Greensboro, N.C., and Charleston, S.C., has joined the Move for Hunger initiative. On moving day the Allied drivers with Excel Moving & Storage will not only move out your furniture and boxes, but will take any unwanted, non-perishable food items to the local food bank, free of charge.  The Raleigh movers are excited to join the growing fleet in the Move for Hunger network along with the Greensboro movers. They will join Move for Hunger’s 250 moving companies in 40 states in the fight to end hunger.  The Charleston movers want to make a positive impact on the hunger problem in America.

Excel Moving & Storage Proudly Support the Carolina Hurricanes

Though it feels like summer just ended, football is in week six and hockey is celebrating its opening week. Excel Moving & Storage are the official movers of the Carolina Hurricanes, so we were excited to help them kick off the season this past September at the Caniac Carnival. Fans of all ages came out to take part in games, watch the Red-White game, and meet their favorite Canes at an autograph signing.

As sponsors of the event, we had a booth set up at the carnival featuring corn hole competitions with prizes for the winners. We also held three raffles throughout the day for Rudino’s, a sports bar affiliated with the Hurricanes.

Besides taking part in events like the Caniac Carnival, as the Raleigh Movers for the Hurricanes we handle all the team’s moves in and out of Raliegh. On that note, let us welcome some new faces we were excited to move into the area this season and wish them luck!
